About The Artwork

Inspiration certainly comes from Gjon Mili, Picasso, Salvador Dali, Étienne-Jules Marey and Georges Demeny. Made by using a unique combination of long exposure light painting photography (from a DSLR) and digital art techniques. The resulting artwork is fairly abstract, but has some form too (in the shape of a cat-like creature wearing a gold crown). The Cat-like creature is a prince and as a result, he has a dignified, regal look about him. I choose light painting as a base for my digital artwork so there is a tactile element involved in it's creation. The results are more vibrant too, compared with many artworks that have standard digital beginnings. This art would likely suit fans of science fiction, the macabre, surreal or fantasy.
