Fascinated with the cryptocurrency and housing economic bubbles, I wanted to locate my tulips within the first documented 'bubble' in 1634 in Holland. I located original documents from 1634-1637 and embedded them into the artwork, making this the mixed media component. Overall however, a painting in its broadest sense.
