About The Artwork

On a bright sunny day happened to walk in the cave on Black Sand Beach. The contrast between the sun rays in the water and the black sand made the water unrealistically glowing in the cave. It's only two colors black and turquoise so simple but so beautiful. I want to convey to the audience all this beauty. To get the same feel, I used turquoise acrylic paint and coated it with tinted resin to get a water effect. For the cave, I use acrylic gel medium and paste to get a 3D effect of the cold stone walls, and for the beach, I use black natural stones and sand.

I am an American artist with Ukrainian roots. I graduated from the Kryvyi Rih State Pedagogical Institute, where I studied academic drawing and painting. While studying at the university, I worked in a design art workshop. There I learned how to design signboards, murals, and Petrikivka folk paintings. After graduation, I left for America. In America, I worked in enterprises not related to art. But painting has always been important to me. I taught painting classes in a Russian school. I taught painting classes for children and adults. I also organized master classes. Only in 2021, I decided to completely go into painting and art. Featured works made in the modern direction of abstract painting, reminiscent of natural objects. I got acquainted with the technique of liquid acrylic only in America. My creative process involves multiple layers of fluid acrylic and resin. For me, each piece begins with the abstraction of everyday life and imagination, which is then shaped by my emotional responses and evolving interests. I found inspiration in all styles and genres of art.
