Abstract Soul - Limited Edition 1 of 1 Artwork

I live in Belper, Derbyshire with my wife and family. I have always been interested in photography, taking after my father who is also a keen amateur photographer. As an adult, I've became more involved in computer graphics, changing my digital images into abstract shapes and colours. This was purely a hobby for many years until a friend of a friend helped me to build my confidence, encouraging me to explore my potential as a freehand artist, without the need for photography, using just my imagination and creativity to produce pure abstract. I now work with both genres: photographic work and freehand abstract pieces. The photography is largely nature-based: scenic views; skies; wildlife. The abstract however has taken on a more personal aspect, I suffer chronic depression and social anxiety but my use creativity as an emotional release to clear my mind - be that pent-up rage, a response to any given situation, or a need to create an image inspired by the music that I am listening to at the time. I also have Type 1 Diabetes and Klienfelters Syndrome which effect my everyday life, this is why I am a keen fundraiser to try and help others come to terms with and understand these conditions. As a long term sufferer of social anxiety social media has become a life line to me allowing me to network with like minded people and connect at either a work level or social level. Through the power of the internet I am attempting to make a name for myself in the world of abstract art and also for the bespoke greeting cards that I create.
