Clown Artwork - Limited Edition of 1

The flowing lines and basic form of these canvases are created first with very rapid movements using a ball point pen on 13" x 19" paper. The flowing lines were originally inspired by the sidewalk mosaics along the beaches of Ipanema and Copacabana, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. This is then scanned and downloaded into Photoshop. Where there are overlapping lines creating an enclosed space, that space is filled with black. Using one of six colors I then add forms such as circles, squares, triangles and any other shapes that fit the feeling. It is then ink jet printed on 30"x 40",1" box framed UV, fade free canvas. My design logo and signature always integrates into the artwork design. A spatula flow of red and white acrylic is applied beneath the logo to authenticate the uniqueness of the print edition of 1 of 7. I chose this style of art because it is the essence of whom I am. I would like the viewer to feel animated, refreshed and stimulated to be in peace and yet excited and happy when viewing one of my pieces of art. Thank you for sharing my vision.
