This drawing is based on a documentary image of Elizabeth II She is here portrayed emanating light with a royal crown half on and half off. I first printed the image to create a drawing and then digitally manipulate it. It is the basis for a series of studies on Queen Elizabeth portraits.

PVB’s early body of work was a scattered journey of personal growth seemingly lacking coherence. Rock paintings, photography, wood carvings, forest installations, performances, underpinned by transience, impermanence and a sense of wonder about reality, the human experience the universe and everything.Over time, through increasing abstraction and with higher confidence, her works are transforming into bold expression of energy can leave quite an impression. Nature, technology, data, society, the mind, and angst become entangled in visual works signaling the artist's conscious transition to the final goal of liberation. PVB has started producing a steady flow of works that can stir the soul. Committed to minimal environmental footprint while leaving an imprint on viewer’s consciousness the artist's dilemma between to be or not to be, create or not create, create minimally, digitally, abstractly is evident throughout her work. Transparent sculptures, stone, sound and water installations aim to minimize impact on the environment while maximizing impact on the viewer The preferred choice for natural materials, pigments, temperas use stones, glass, textile, gypsum, cement, ceramics, recycled metals are used to evoke conceptual intrinsic emptiness and the vacuity of sensorial experience A part of me is an experimental mixed media retrospective life artist Which means, when looking back, I found out, after decades of staring at nature and art, and trying to figure out reality as a whole, that our perception is illusory, and that at least some of what I have been doing, has been art. And that there is a link between art, happiness, wellness, mental health. I studied creative communication in Europe, languages and History of The Arts ( among other subjects ) . The textbooks at the time were authored by Giulio Carlo Argan. I had a teacher called Prof Anzani. I then hung out with real artists, those who would make a living out of selling artwork and had proper studios and shows. At that time, I did not dare call my work art nor show it much. I became seriously sidetracked by research science and engineering, but I learned a lot. While it helped me to understand some aspects of the world, it constrained me unnecessarily and excessively. After many years between art and science, I thought, science is not paying off.
