The world was due to end on May 21st 2011, I wasn't surprised that I lived to see the next day and the next day, including today. This picture and others in a series are a kind of homage to the end of the world. I seek balance and colour in my work, and look for ever evolving pictures, this seems to have it all.

My work is an expression, a random pattern emerging from the apparent fixed form of a digital photograph. Movement and colour are random accidents of multiple reductive techniques, the finished image more of a pause in the process than a final conclusion.
