About The Artwork
A myriad of mutated Malabar tree nymph butterflies circling together and filling the hyperbolic space. This Escher-like circle limit picture is unique since it is based on a photo. The digital file has a limited edition of 10 copies. The base triangle has angles of 60, 45, and 36 degrees. Hence, at the intersection points of rotation 3, 4 and 10 butterflies meet. Each butterfly has 5 neighbors with a boundary in common.
