About The Artwork
This work was inspired by Frederick Lord Leighton's beautiful, loving image - it's a little larger than the original, and works in an entirely different way! I've fractured and tiled the image, contrasting its idyllic world against the chaotic, sharp-edged world outside. It's excuted as a collage of glycee tiled images mounted on a thick panel. It's ready to hang.

Now, in retirement and long out of monastic life, his artistic practice has greatly expanded, including glass sculptures and canvas works in private and public collections worldwide, mostly to commission.
