"ascension" - Limited Edition 1 of 1 Print

My art is about the soul Art offers a static physical form to reflect the inner workings of one's own awareness. "Ascension" is the rise of the soul’s awareness that it belongs to all that exists. An awareness that the soul is one with God, the universe or whatever you call it. And from this awareness that soul sees the world differently, as interconnected. i ask the viewer to ponder what they think as relates the colors, the title, and more importantly, what they feel from exposure to this work. Crayola crayon fuses together in ways that other mediums do not easily lend themselves to do. The colors on the originals have depth, vibrancy, and when seen with 3-D glasses to almost leap off the tile. This style, medium, and the technique used to create my art is uniquely my own. This piece can be hung frame less by mounting a saw toothed hanger on the back of the tile with a very strong type of epoxy. Or a more traditional way of wall hanging, within a frame, and I suggest a frame that has some depth to it so that this piece nestles within the frame most securely.
