Available for purchase at: Another painting inspired by "El Mal Querer" by Rosalía. This time it's the first song of the album: "Malamente". This is the first song I ever heard from Rosalía, and I was impressed by it. I never thought I could like this kind of music, didn't know it could exist even. So unique, and touching; her voice so alluring. "Malamente" speaks of augury, a bad omen, and is the beginning of the story she tells in the album. I'm gonna be honest: my paintings inspired by this album have a very political meaning to me, given the dictatorship in my country, but I've talked about it in previous paintings, so I won't repeat myself. Still, I wanted to portrait someone with their eyes closed, ignoring all the signs around them, knowing very well that the path they've chosen is a bad one that'll bring them lots of pain. That little broken glass, I felt how it creaked Before it fell to the ground, I already knew it was breaking The landing light is blinking A voice on the stairs, someone crossing the hall... She can close her eyes, but she still can see, from within herself, that things will turn badly. Roselin Estephanía (March, 1994), born in Barquisimeto, Venezuela. With more than a decade of experience, she is a Venezuelan artist focused on watercolor. Her style tends to blend surrealism with realism in a mix of pure fantasy. Her collectors are attracted to her unique aesthetic in her original paintings: "her watercolor paintings seem to come straight from her heart". For Roselin, her art is her most faithful way of transmitting both the beautiful and the saddest parts of life. She attended the University of Zulia to study Plastic Arts, she finished her specialty mention in drawing. In the beginning it was difficult for her to sell her original paintings, as she felt very attached to them, feeling them very personal, but the fact that there are collectors all over the world buying them makes her feel that her message is understood, and that what she is trying to communicate is appreciated.
