This work is part of a series of collages that started on 2013. What I found interesting about this approach was the multi-dimensional nature of it...many spaces and many times altogether in one canvas... This particular piece central image is a self-portrait that finds myself in a room in Berlin, where I had been the year before, in presence of a community that had been through lots of real though moments for almost a period of 70 years and had come to the other side strengthened, free and empowered. Having my self-portrait naked was maybe influenced by the lots of nudists I saw in Tiergarten, coexisting in harmony with the rest of the citizens nearby... The other components components of the collage are for you to play with your imagination.... In some moment maybe I will write about them also....

I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Started my journey in art attending to painting classes since I was 9 and never stopped from then. Although the path has been rocky many times, making art for me is a lighthouse that shines a light over my life and helps me try to understand where I am and where I am going. And if by chance I get to discover any answer or clue by doing my practice, not only it helps myself but it may also those who get in touch with my work and can resonate with its message. Messages that are not premeditated. Just felt in my heart and humbly transmitted. No mental concepts to call for assisted reflections. I think of my work as an opportunity to delve into a groove that transcends my existence. To navigate through it and be at the disposal of the unexpected, of the unknown, of everything that was, is and will be. A furrow of exploration of what surrounds me, of the visible and the invisible. The process, the experience and the uncertainty above the mental concept, above reaching a certain destination. And in the transit of experience, the findings. Findings that many times even transcend my ability to understand. Registered in each brushstroke, in each gesture, in each choice.
