I observe how people act; how they move in their environment.I store everything deep inside my subconscious- that is why I call my work „intrinsic expressionism“. My process is constantly evolving- It comes from my deepest fantasies - mixing with personal experience. I like to paint portraits. For me a face tells it all and it thrills me to be brutally honest in the expression of my feelings - at each moment. In this case I remembered of a situation somewhere in Africa. It was so present, so strong in the moment I had to bring it to the canvas!

Grown up close to Munich in Bavaria, in the melting pot of the expressionism (Blaue Reiter). I worked as a Creative in the Marketing Business. Since 1996 I am working as a self-taught artist in my own studios in Gaimersheim/Germany and Mallorca/Spain. Conveying the deep feelings of the inner imagination is the start of her painting’s creative process–which always has the people at its center. Momentary impressions, which have memorized and which are the basis for the painting process. Layer by layer sensed, elaborated, viewed, but also rejected and re-developed. Every layer, even if it seems hidden, remains an important part of the painting, strengthens the expressiveness, conveys profundity, and always opens up new, not yet discovered.
