I am a painter who painted up a flurry until I had children. After a break, I am back in business and more inspired than ever. My paintings are about the transformation of paint to almost breath in a represented life form or as abstraction that only exists in art. I love to juxtapose these polar opposite images. The abstraction makes the realism feel more real and the realism makes the abstraction more other-worldly. They are both, however, from raw art materials.
