The work "2020" is based on my thoughts of the pandemic Covid19. This year everyone living through an unusual time with complicated social, economic and health crisis. The majority of us has a negative impression of the Covid virus. Perhaps this special occasion does attract many artists how we see this situation in our own way. In this reason, I am interested the details of the virus. As long as I see I attracted the beauty of the mother nature and its creation, shape and structure although known this virus has taken many lives. Such a beautiful and dangerous. This is the other side of nature. In nature, there isn't anything exist good or bad, positive or negative. All micro and macro worlds have existed on a delicate balance, in the life cycle. We human do struggle to survive but we will be tested by nature from time to time. The "2020" is one of the latest series painting with simple lines and flat colour compositions. mixed with traditional painting elements, symbols and abstract forms. It is painted on cardboard for display in the frame. Therefore it does not have a hanging string on the back of the painting yet! If you interested this piece, please contact about details and technical issue to display.

I am a Mongolian-born London based visual artist. I initially studied Mongolian traditional art at the Mongolian Fine Arts Institute before completing a MA in Nihonga (Japanese Painting) from Tokyo University of the Arts. My experience of different cultural traditions and the challenges of the contemporary world led me to develop an interest in the relationship between anthropology and art, a prominent theme in my artistic expression. My works are also deeply grounded in animism.
