This work is an echo from "206-Variación Azul / Rojo (I)" The concept behind is the the same, the treatment of the middle layer that bonds the blue (universe) and the red (earth / blood) is different. It has a thick layer of oil painting whereas in "206..." that sector is the only that has no oil painting...just the acrylic base that went all below the painting.... Text from "206-Variación Azul / Rojo (I)" in order to also understand this "echo" painting: This work was born after having this image repeatedly coming to my mind. Deep Blue and Red, in that exact proportion, in that exact orientation. Meaning? No one at first. Just two colors coming to my mind repeatedly. But while doing the work some meaning started to become apparent. The blue that resulted resembled that blue of a starry night, infinite universe blue... and the red... for some cultures it is a color linked to the earth, maybe because of the red lava in the center of itself... as red is our blood, we humans... so along the road the painting started to talk by herself about the communion of heaven and earth... the divine and the human.... No certainties.. just thoughts....

Argentina
I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Started my journey in art attending to painting classes since I was 9 and never stopped from then. Although the path has been rocky many times, making art for me is a lighthouse that shines a light over my life and helps me try to understand where I am and where I am going. And if by chance I get to discover any answer or clue by doing my practice, not only it helps myself but it may also those who get in touch with my work and can resonate with its message. Messages that are not premeditated. Just felt in my heart and humbly transmitted. No mental concepts to call for assisted reflections. I think of my work as an opportunity to delve into a groove that transcends my existence. To navigate through it and be at the disposal of the unexpected, of the unknown, of everything that was, is and will be. A furrow of exploration of what surrounds me, of the visible and the invisible. The process, the experience and the uncertainty above the mental concept, above reaching a certain destination. And in the transit of experience, the findings. Findings that many times even transcend my ability to understand. Registered in each brushstroke, in each gesture, in each choice.
