ABOUT THE ARTWORK

I have a new project to announce for 2017! My 100paintings project in 2016 went very well and there were two things that really stood out to me. First, I loved the consistent engagement with viewers. It was exciting to get so many responses to the work and I had many interesting conversations online and off. It kept me motivated and focused on the project. Secondly, I was really excited by the often surprising direction the work took. I am very proud of the paintings and I'm currently working on some large pieces that are directly influenced by these painting. SO, because of that, I'm starting another project for 2017! This project will be 50 shaped paintings. They aren't going to all be the same sizes like the previous project and they'll all be different shapes. I am very excited to see how these develop. This is a new way of working for me, so it will definitely be a challenge. Hope you like them!! Acrylic and acrylic spray paint on shaped wood panel; lays flat against the wall. Hangs on a screw, no framing needed, sides painted white. Signed, titled and labeled on the back.
