ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This painting was started and finished in 30 minutes, part of her '30 minute collection series'. She's not sure what she was trying to convey when painting this, She sort of found herself at a dead end. She says her inspiration for this painting was nature and forests; she appreciates the beauty in them. The wooden fence is something she challenged herself in painting throughout the whole process. Truly a rare, one of a kind, original piece. No reference used. Originally done in 2020. Acrylic on canvas.

GS first started painting in an art studio from the ages of seven to ten. Throughout school, her teachers had selected her works to be showcased in museums. Her main subjects are flowers she finds around her mother and grandmother's home. She finds sentimental beauty in the meaning of these flowers her family specifically selects for their home and has grown to love capturing them in time and space. Her favorite preferred medium is oil on canvas, but she also uses acrylics.
