About The Artwork
A warm and lively atmosphere developed when painting this small piece. Though I did not intend to make it too much a seaside painting it was funny how quickly this idea comes up in spite of my use of rather simple and sometimes deliberate brushstrokes. The way our mind fits forms and colour together to bridge the gaps in information has been a long term area of interest for me. The multi-panel structure is a method of research. This painting comes readily framed in an elegant aluminum frame for display or hanging.
