My artistic journey began with the freedom of being a self-taught artist, allowing me to instinctively explore creativity. After several years, I felt compelled to deepen my understanding and refine my craft, leading me to study under respected artists in the Philippines. This invaluable period of formal training in realism provided me with a strong foundation and a comprehensive understanding of various mediums. It was much later, through continued independent exploration, that I truly discovered my passion for abstract art. This revelation shifted my focus entirely, and I now primarily express myself through acrylics, embracing the boundless possibilities of non-representational forms. My work is a testament to this evolving path—a blend of self-discovery, disciplined learning, and the profound joy of finding my authentic artistic voice.
