About The Artwork
This is the first artwork in my series "A Touch of Blue". 4% of people on Earth are synesthetes. The world of synesthesia is more complicated than the world of an ordinary person. Someone sees words and numbers in color, others are able to distinguish the color aura of a person's mood. Still others know the taste of each color. This is given from birth and often people do not suspect that they are different. Perhaps you are that person! Or maybe you have already forgotten that you were once like that. So, I am a synesthete. And I invite you to take a deep breath and dive into my world of blue. Blue is my place of power. Let the blue penetrate your consciousness for at least a few seconds and feel how it captures and takes you into the secrets of your subconscious, but at the same time gives you unshakable confidence that everything will be fine and no matter how old you are now - you know that everything is the most the best is yet to come. Why? Because it cannot be otherwise. This is something that cannot be understood and explained in words and generally accepted logic, something that makes you feel alive and filled, something for which you can stay awake at night or wake up before dawn, something that cannot be expressed in words, but you can only feel and accept . This is an internal energy and an ocean of passions, hidden from outsiders and packaged in generally accepted norms, as well as purity, tranquility and love. This artwork was created using acryl pigments and stretched canvas. A thin layer of varnish protects the artwork against UV rays and dust. The canvas is stretched on wooden frame. The sides are painted. The artwork is ready to hang. The artwork is signed on the back and accompanied with a Certificate of Authenticity. The painting will be shipped and packed professionally. Every person is unique. Each of us has our path, our own life experience, which shapes us, making us different from others. Therefore, I want to tell you a little about myself so that you can better understand me and my painting. I was born in Ukraine. For me, it is a bright, colorful, sunny, and beautiful place. Greenery, sun, endless blue sky, cornfields, smiles, the anticipation of happiness and love... This is how I remember it. Then we moved to the Far North. To such a cold and snowy Norilsk with its ascetic, harsh, gray-white landscape. And also with an endless polar night and yellow lanterns that fill the void with meaning. There is a special charm in this. Although the understanding of this harsh beauty came to me much later, after I left Norilsk for good. When I grew up and became independent in my choice, I found my city - this is Moscow. I adore Moscow for its energy, speed, dynamics, brightness, and sometimes for the gray sky because it reminds me of the harsh and deserted north. That is why in my works I choose certain colors that are colored with a meaning that I understand. I approach the choice of color intuitively. I try to convey my emotions and feelings to them. And that's why I love abstraction. It allows me to convey not only a visual image, but to reflect my emotions, which is also much important for me.
