This portrait was inspired by the series Sortilèges et philtres d'amour that I produced for my exhibition for the Brussels Gallery weekend in 2021. It speaks of love, passion and also the dependence that one can feel about love which can be positive or negative. But also freedom. Are we free in the face of love? Or are we subject to our need to be loved.
