About The Artwork

For years I ran several businesses that I owned in the Tel Aviv port and was fascinated by the interplay between the forces of nature and the act of the human hand. The power that peels and breaks down every substance and returns everything to the foundation, to earth. The story is about a fire pole, proud, strong, and stable that has always been in place ready to rescue at the moment of truth and about a lonely, neglected, and tired tricycle seeking its patronage. But as he approaches the fire pole he discovers that its glory days have passed and its days are numbered.
