About The Artwork

It takes a lot of time and effort to make an abstract painting, but the good news is all it will take is a few materials to create your masterpiece. Paint: You’ll need paint in various colors, from dark to light. However, you'll only be using one color at a time. So go ahead and stock up on different colors that you like. Water: You don't want your paint to dry out when you're halfway through so keep some water nearby for mixing and mopping up spills. A large piece of paper: The larger the paper size, the harder it is to work with; however, it may also give your final painting better perspective. Oil paints are also typically easier to work with on smaller canvases because they are more malleable than acrylics and oils tend to be less grainy than watercolor paints. If you want a more textured look or if you're painting on thicker paper (like canvas), then use acrylics or oil paint instead of watercolor paint. Paintbrush: This is the tool that will help you get the wonderful lines and textures of your abstract painting down on paper. Choose one that feels comfortable in your hand as well as one that can apply enough pressure in order for you to create those wonderful lines without making any mistakes or ending up with crumpled paper from too much pressure. A palette: Artists have different palettes for different types of paintings, so pick one that works best for what type of painting you
