The theme of this work is about love and sacrifice. Love that makes someone immersed in intoxicating ecstasy that makes him/her willing to sacrifice whatever he/she has, even his/her life. A lover is in the space between suffering and pleasure. Red and black brushstrokes in the middle of the canvas symbolize passion and obsession. Splashes of bright colorful paint symbolize the climax in moments that are often felt in love.
