About The Artwork

Acryl and acrylic sealant on canvas Abandoned otel "Parus", Dnipro city The construction of the hotel dates back to 1975. By 1978 the floors had been driven out, and in 1979, according to all calculations, the building had to be put into operation. But funding from the central budget was stopped, and the city was not able to cope with such an object by itself. By 1995 the construction had still being going on, though very slow, even windows and doors were partially installed. Experts estimated that half a year of hard work remained. But then the funding stopped completely. The hotel was abandoned until 2005, when it was bought by a private company, committing itself to building there a dwelling house within 10 years. However, nothing has changed since. So now the hotel remains only a great lure for tourists and roofers. 2019, Signed on the back The colour you see on the screen may vary from the real one

Hello! I am a 20 y.o contemporary artist from Ukraine. Being fascinated by art since childhood, I realized at a more mature age that it will always be an integral part of my life. My style was formed through years of trying and experimenting with both the subject matter of the works and the materials for their creation, finally forming my style in early 2018, finding a response of the soul in the lines of architecture, the mood of the streets, the history of places and their variability. Since then, most of my work has been related to urbanism, and acrylic is the material of choice because of its quick dry, which allows me to capture the fleeting mood and atmosphere of a particular landscape. All landscapes that are displayed in my paintings are places of Ukraine, mainly Kiev. I can say that art has become a kind of "therapy" and ritual of calmness for me, and I want my audience to feel the same when looking at my artworks, contemplating the restrained gamma and local small details.
