Martin McAuley is an independent London based artist, specialising in abstract expressionism and the surreal. An ability to create art, whether serious or just for fun is one of those things that helps makes us human. As an exponent of democratic art or citizen art, I believe that freedom of artistic expression is a human right and that everyone should be free to create and disseminate art. This is good for democracy and good for our society too.
