Unframed. Abstract Acrylic Layered/Textured Painting (22 Layers). 24 x 36 x 1.5 in. Gallery Wrapped Canvas. Use of a Palette Knives. My concept with this painting as with many paintings is to have a free feeling when I paint with the palette knives when I apply the specific colors to the canvas. With this painting-I had 5 different processes to come to the final features. I have used 2 Shades of Red, 1 Shades of Blue, 1 Shades of Yellow for the final layer. The layer underneath the top layer has a varied amount of colors that I used so the top layer colors would stand out more-Silver, White, Yellow Ochre . 2 Vertical hangings and 2 Horizontal hangings. Felt pads on backside to protect walls when hanging. Use of 5 coats of Golden Archival Professioanl UV Gloss Spray Varnish coating the painting to protect this art piece. Certificate of Authenticity 1/1. Signed on back side.

**I price my paintings accordingly to the supplies used, the amount of primer/professional paint I use, hours of time to paint, and Saatchi's % ...which by the way is very reasonable considering what a gallery charges for a commission.

** Note-Lighting makes a huge difference with each art piece. I have taken several photos in different locations in different lighting & I have noticed a different brilliance that is captured depending on the type of lighting given. Be aware of the type of lighting-If direct or indirect lighting. Overhead Lighting directly over a painting is the best form of lighting or a room that had good, good, lighting from the outdoors or for the room. Many times paintings can look darker on the wall-if there is not proper lighting.
