The abstract painting inspired by the Aegean Sea features shades of blue and green. The colors blend seamlessly into each other, creating a calming and sereneambiance that captures the essence of the Aegean Sea. The painting is full of texture, with layers of paint applied with thick brush strokes and swirling patterns that resemble the waves of the sea. Graphic Designer and Mixed Media creator artist, Alexandra Petropoulou is a Greek artist, who was born in Athens and lives in Korinthia, Greece. She is an abstract artist whose studies in classic graphic design and her professional experience as a graphic designer have resulted in a versatile knowledge of art. After many years of painting, abstract art is what leads Alexandra to the expression of her feelings. Each painting is a new journey of excitement, her new "Ithaka" ,inspired by the poem Ithaka, according to which: "the journey is more important than the destination" (C. P. Cavaphy). Alexandra Petropoulou, looking for her Ithaca, like Odysseus the ingenious, consciously experiences the "journey and the destination"… and then the possibility of arriving at it. Her own Ithaca is an Ithaca of colors and shapes .. that fly to the eternal… but also that manage to throw a longline to the passion of the earthly and visible! Contemporary works ... with the intensity of a troubled, sensitized young creator. They have clear references to her studies, which help her focus her life exclusively on creating and surviving through her art. Works of a modern woman of this turbulent time, with the characteristic Color, who strive to find a way out, sometimes in the tender flowers of her dreams, sometimes in the spiral of a "genesis" .. that may one day reveal her destination! Her studies in ΑΚΤΟ, which happens to be the largest educational group of Art, Design & Media in Greece, offered to her the passport to be a qualified creator with big plans. Her artworks has travelled and been sold in Greece, Dubai, Romania, Italy, Sweden, France, Cyprus, Switzerland, USA, Brussels, Monaco, Ireland, England and Spain.
