About The Artwork

This artwork is done using charcoal and acrylic over paper. I got the inspiration in a museum, in the south of Spain, in Chiclana de la Frontera. They have an old engraving of "Paquiro", probably the most important bullfighter in the history. Not the better but the most importan. This year I am going to exhibit in this museum so this picture is very important for me. It means the feelings that we have, nowadays, when we see that kind of old artworks about that important characters in the history.

I was born in the north of Spain but I do live in the south of Spain. I paint and draw since I was a little child. I am very interested in all that matters that we call culture... painting, music, literature, bullfightings, ... I have an important influence of Buddhist thoughts. I am always talking about the transformation of material and also about the human suffering. My pictures are graphic poems and express my deep feelings.
