About The Artwork
Surah Al-Fatiha is the opening Surah of the Quran. The theme of this chapter is the basic tenets of Islam; those being belief in Allah, following the Prophet Muhammad (sallallāhu ʿalayhi wa sallam) and the purification of the soul and exalted character that those principles should bring about. What I love about this surah is that man asks Allah to guide them to the right path - The path of those whom He has favored and not of those who has earned His anger. In many ways, Sūrah al-Fātihah is a summary of the main themes of the Quran. I used acrylic pouring technique for this painting and Orange, Brownish color to give it the look of a wooden article.
