A painting based on a Persian poem written by Khayyam, a symbolic poet.

It is stretched on a wooden frame (4cm wide). No need for framing, the sides are painted, so you will receive it ready to hang.

A certification of authenticity signed by me and the gallery I work with is provided and will be sent with the painting

In this artwork, there is a verse of his poem written on canvas, about destiny:

"I take wine, jars after jugs, so that in my decay
Wine incense you may roll off my clay
So with hangover pass by my grave
Surely, you’ll depart tipsy, happy, and brave"

At first glance, it may seem like an abstract painting accompanied by Persian calligraphy. But looking closely, the observer discovers a woman's nude body laying on the bottom of the artwork in white.
There is a Persian motif of a bird in a big circle representing liberty, faith and love.

I used white to symbolise eternity and red both for lovers' blood and for the wine. This is because the Poet uses the symbolic approach of wine relating it to love, pureness and wine itself.

It is a symbolic, abstract and figurative painting all at the same time.

ABOUT THE ARTWORK

a verse written on canvas, about destiny:"I take wine, jars after jugs, so that in my decay/ Wine incense you may roll off my clay/So with hangover pass by my grave /Surely, you’ll depart tipsy, happy, and brave" At first glance, it seems as an abstract painting .looking closely, a woman's nude body laying on the bottom of the artwork in white appears, a Persian motif of a bird in a big circle representing liberty, faith and love.white to symbolise eternity and red both for lovers' blood & for the wine because the Poet uses the symbolic approach of wine relating it to love, pureness. I've blended the vitality of expressionism with the elegance of fine art, using the tactile richness of acrylics & oils. Each stroke channels deep emotions, as I explore themes of passion and tranquility. The central figure symbolizes the essence of spirit, encircled by the dynamism of life. It's a dance of color, evoking a soulful presence that infuses spaces with an air of resonant energy & profound contemplation.

Persian/Canadian Painter born in Tehran, currently living in Florence, Italy. Permanent artist in gallery- Bologna Award-winning artist, in national and international contests, artworks published in important Italian ( such as reviews & articles on national newspapers, catalogo della arte moderna vol 50, 53,54,55) and Persian catalogues. My artworks are mostly inspired by ancient Persian poetry. They are very expressive and carry oriental art. My original creations are mostly made of acrylic, oil and mixed media. Acrylic helps a lot with the texture I use. I mix it with oil sometimes for its brightness. I am an artist and I consider myself a storyteller too. I am the link to Persian tradition in a completely contemporary way. I want to preserve its lyrical depth and introspective ability. I consider the artistic research an introspective analysis. When I paint figures come to the surface as from a mystic vision. Beauty reveals itself in symbolic shapes. They find a place on the canvas and remind the viewer about the importance of feelings.
