I'm so drawn to washed out pastel facades and broken shutters. I wonder why? Like echos of our past that feel strangely comforting. Maybe its the untidiness of it all. Stones, seashells and sea grass, no room for lines of parasols. Fresh air, sea air. Some days Posidonia completely covers, this otherwise, sandy little cove. The arched buildings and fortress try to stay brave and withstand the prevailing winds. The cracks are visible, foundations wavering, but the beauty persists and draws you in. Once a fishing port, now a swimming hole fit for families from afar. I can't help but like this place. Using acrylics and ink, this canvas is a little dance of resilience and grace, meant to energise any space it inhabits.
