All alone inside my head Painting

This piece is a commentary on loneliness, feelings of abandonment, and feeling so hopeless that you feel as if you were an innocent, helpless child again--stuck, and alone inside your mind, both in the state of sleep and wakefulness. This piece can also be hung-up two different ways, with either the open eyes at the bottom, or the closed eyes at the bottom. I hope that my viewers that understand what it is to feel this way may find that this work speaks to them on deep and personal levels, and that my work can successfully reflect the feelings I have described above.
