About The Artwork
A friend of mine owns a beautiful horse called Blade. I watched him gallop around his field on a crisp spring morning in April. Inspired by the power, strength and elegance of this stunning animal I started to bring together chocolate brown pastels, and rich acrylic paints to try to capture the movement and beauty of this stunning horse. I wanted to capture the pure movement and power of the animal. The piece is called Amazing Grace.
