About The Artwork

From the series "People who know how to kill" On September 21, 2022, totalitarian dictator Vladimir Putin announced a "partial" mobilization to continue the war in Ukraine. Adequate and sane people thought that this was the last chance for a revolution in Russia. When, if not now, to take to the streets, overthrow the dictator and demand an end to the bloody and terrible war? But the citizens of Russia decided otherwise. They are more afraid to take to the streets than to go to the front. They fear their president more than the loss of human dignity and life. They no longer have the right to vote. And recently it became clear: they do not want to. They do not want to stop the war, they do not want freedom, justice and happiness. They want war. They want to shed blood. They are ready to die. They are ready to kill. But for what?
