Refined simplicity describes this hard-edged abstract. Painted with 2 harmonized colors: ocean spray & stone, there is a play with optics when one spends time looking at this work. I left marks of my brush for a bit of subtle visual interest. My signature golden heart rests on the underside on the right side of the canvas, as a talisman of the most powerful force, LOVE. In my “Stasis” painting series, I translate memory into, hard-edged paintings with dramatic curves and angles. These simple yet complex Minimalism works offer a pathway into my experiences — layers of recollection elegantly embodied through curvilinear sculptures that celebrate form through their refinement and sophisticated use of color. Each has my signature golden heart on the bottom side of the canvas, as a talisman of hope.
