The Andrógin@ trilogy is inspired by the artist’s friends who, during adolescence, embarked on a brave journey of gender identity exploration. Cool tones and tight framing are deliberately used to convey the anguish and claustrophobic feeling of this complex process. Through these languid figures, the artist reveals the internal struggle and deep yearning for authenticity that defines this personal transformation. The exhibited painting, "Andrógino@ uno", is the first in the trilogy and marks the beginning of a profound and transformative journey. In this piece, the figure appears naked and solitary in the darkness, symbolizing the vulnerability and isolation that often accompany the initial steps toward self-exploration. Climbing the first steps, they embark on a lifelong path filled with challenges, discoveries, and personal growth. This work captures the start of an inner journey, evoking both the uncertainty and courage needed to undertake a transformation of identity.

I was born in Montevideo, Uruguay, on December 9, 1969. In 1976, my family moved to Buenos Aires, where I studied drawing and painting, honing my skills alongside the visual artist Andrés Zerneri. I find an inexhaustible source of passion and renewal in art. I am a musician, street dancer, self-taught visual artist, and producer. My constant search for new life alternatives and aesthetics drives me to experiment, integrate, and recycle in all my works. Since 2007, I have resided in my home-studio in Cologne, Germany, which also serves as the headquarters for all my projects. My paintings are exhibited in alternative spaces, where the audience’s experience is characterized by surprise and interaction. Nightclubs, bars, gyms, and even the street itself—all spaces are valid for my exhibitions. Additionally, my home doubles as an art gallery.
