About The Artwork
2016. Often I walk through Berlin and discover perfect moments for me within a few seconds, which I can quickly capture with the camera. “Angel of Berlin” was such a moment. Being in the right place at the right time. This motive is so strong in its expressiveness, lightness and affinity with an unusual view of a small piece of Berlin that I decided to paint it. Acrylic on canvas is currently the medium I am using. The format is rather smaller and looks like a window in the wall. A glimpse into a rising, still, almost holy moment in the middle of the city of Berlin.
