ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I painted this at the time of the BP Oil Spill. Though a pleasant painting to look at, I imagined an arial view of the swampland and the oil rushing out uncontrollably. In an effort to control the surge of oil, those in charge tried to redirect it for collection. Consequently I call it Apocolypta.
