Abstract painting "Artichoke" Size 26*26 cm Acrylic painting on cardboard, markers. November, 2021 This artwork is sold unframed. The artwork is titled and signed on the front and also comes with a certificate of authenticity. The fascination of this painting lies in the detail. Structures, several layers of paint and a glossy finish conserve the beauty of the transient on cardboard. Artichoke is a loner's vegetable. It is difficult to eat it in company, but when you are alone, it is truly the food of the gods. A meditative vegetable designed for true gourmets. Hard and dense at first, then gradually softer and more delicate. Gradually, the greenish hue pales, transitioning to a straw color that opens to the eye behind the last of the spiky purple petals. The vinegar sauce accentuates the nuanced flavors of each successive layer. The pace of progression is up to you. The artichoke doesn't rush you. You can hold each leaf in your mouth for a few minutes until your tongue feels bitter, or, on the contrary, you can sink your teeth into the base of several leaves at once and grab a good chunk of thick flesh. There is only one taboo for the artichoke: haste. This vegetable dictates its own rules of etiquette. Then comes the moment of amusement - you remove the inner fibers. You press them down with your thumb and carefully cut off strand after strand with your knife, in a gentle, almost loving shudder, freeing the core from her hair. And there it is - the reward: with fork and knife, you penetrate the heart of the artichoke, praying to yourself that the gardener who raised it has not left a hint of a floury taste in it. Email: natasha_zevahina@mail.ru Instagram: leetruka My name is Natasha, but I work under the pseudonym LeeTruka. I am from Perm, the cultural capital of the Urals. I love to draw, travel and take pictures. My relatives and friends consider me not from this world. I am engaged in drawing not so long ago but I dreamed about it all my life. For me it is the best way to capture thoughts, fantasies, dreams. I really want to develop my skills and techniques, and as a consequence, to realize myself in this field of activity. And so I am grateful for the opportunity to present myself. My works are in private collections all over the world. I try to live an eco-friendly lifestyle. Not long ago I became fascinated by the topic of 'Recycling' and the concept of 'Zero Waste'. Recycling is an environmentally friendly alternative to conventional landfill, helping to reduce the amount of resources used as well as reducing greenhouse gas emissions. It can prevent the disposal of potentially useful materials and reduce the consumption of virgin raw materials, thereby reducing energy consumption, air, water and soil pollution. And so, for my work, I sometimes choose non-standard materials such as paper bags, recycled cardboard, newspapers, magazines and so on.
