Autumn in Rome Painting

Francesco Farolfi lives and works in Florence, the cradle of the Renaissance, where he was born in 1958. His art is developed on a figurative basis, interweaving Impressionist taste with contemporary stylistic solutions. He works with oil paints or powdered pigments bound with acrylics, mainly on panel. His technical mastery is due to his experience, which began with working in his father's workshop, as a creator of frescoes and wall paintings on commission, for which he was also called to work abroad, in the United States and Japan. . Faces and the human figure, as well as the urban landscape, are currently his favourite subjects. In 2017, he exhibited some of his works at a solo exhibition at the Auditorium al Duomo in Florence.
