“Autumn in the Jungle” is a captivating artwork from Yehor Lemzyakoff’s “The Rumble in the Jungle” series. This oil on canvas measures 50 x 60 cm and is shipped ready to hang. This piece abstractly captures the essence of autumn’s transformative power within the jungle, marked by a kaleidoscope of vibrant colors that echo the seasonal shift. The textured strokes and contrasting color patches brilliantly convey the decay and renewal inherent to autumn, bringing the cyclic change of the jungle to life. Inspiration and Intent: Yehor Lemzyakoff draws inspiration from the seasonal dynamics of the jungle, where the concept of autumn is reimagined through a burst of unexpected colors and movements. This painting reflects the artist’s fascination with how traditional autumnal changes—typically observed in temperate climates—might manifest in a tropical setting, blending the familiar with the fantastical. Artistic Choices: The choice of vivid, contrasting colors against a murky background represents the bright decay and vibrant rebirth seen in nature. Lemzyakoff uses abstract forms and a richly textured application of paint to symbolize the layering of old and new life, creating a visual representation of the jungle’s ever-evolving canvas. Physical Details: The painting features deep textural layers that enhance the sensory experience, inviting viewers to explore the interplay of color and form. High-quality materials are used to ensure the longevity of the vibrant hues and intricate textures.

Once I was asked: “What is the truth?”. I did not understand the question. What is art? Through our lives we, in one form or another, are trying to discover the meaning of our existence, to satisfy our curiosity and achieve satisfaction through such achievement. It is one's inevitable limitations and inhibitions which frustrate such efforts but which also frequently drive people with artistic spirits to create outside their comfort zone and in some extreme cases leads even to their destruction. I would like to see my art as an unrestricted journey of self-discovery and exploration in search of elusive answers to those and other questions which are often more difficult to understand than to answer. I remember once, my emotional, and admittedly elaborative art expose about my paintings, was abruptly interrupted by a friend, and an artist, saying: “You should not explain the art. The true art speaks for itself”. Forget prolonged explanations. Art is an expression in itself. Just as much as reality is just merely our perception. Is it not?
