ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Acrylic on board,ready to hang. This painting of an Avocet shows off it's the sheer elegance. The bird was gliding through the long grasses on the Romney marsh in Kent. I applied the paint for the highlighted grass stems with the edge of my pallette knife gives the piece a free and expressive feel.
