The protesting woman looks straight ahead with a spirit of determination and strong will. Her gaze at the viewer displays her own grit and the grit of all those behind her. Just behind the protester is a man with a watchful eye. His intense observation symbolizes the government's ever-present monitoring of its citizens. The upside-down American flag symbolizes the distress of the protesters. An act so defiant, representing the urgency and seriousness of the protest. In this painting, the bright blue dog is a symbol of defiance and resistance to government rules and regulations. The dog represents unity, peaceful resistance and hope for the future amongst the protesters challenging government authority and fighting for their rights. This painting conveys the spirit of those who refuse to obey and give in to injustice. This painting was inspired by numerous social justice protests of 2020.

I am an award-winning artist based in Northern Virginia. I started painting at a very early age because I was very curious and tried to get deep about how everything depends on each other, depending on time, entailment, or location. My art is about people and how they deal with their everyday and global fears. I am trying to understand human destinies and perceptions of each other, and how they will resist coming. How we evolved from naive, pure children to who we are today. How our attitude towards other people affects our essence, changing them. For as long as I can remember, I have loved to explore people and it helps me understand myself better. I like to distinguish human auras and show them in the picture in bright colors. Some people have a very strong spiritual energy and it manifests itself in relationships with nature. I use nature in my work as a biography of these characters. We were born in nature and we will return to it. Sometimes people seem too insignificant in the background, but sometimes nature itself brings it to the fore. Drawing each canvas, I live this moment in the life of those heroes who play the main role and visit those places again and again.
