BLUE NOTE 35 x 50 cm, Acrylic and Spray on Paper. Barcelona 2022 Creating BLUE NOTE was a process that required both skill and intuition. To achieve the desired effect, several layers of acrylic paint and spray were applied to the paper. This method leaves little room for error, as the artist must work quickly and with purpose, relying on their instincts to guide them. In a way, it's a metaphor for life - we must act with intention and seize opportunities as they arise. The phrase "people are what we do and not what we say" resonates deeply with the artist, as it speaks to the importance of action over words. It's not enough to talk about what we want to achieve; we must take concrete steps to make it a reality. The process of creating BLUE NOTE required the artist to focus on the details and make intentional choices about every stroke of the brush and spray of the paint. Life is full of nuance, and not everything can be reduced to black and white. There are shades of grey and many variations of blue, each with its own unique character and meaning. BLUE NOTE captures this complexity, with layers of color and texture that blend together to create a harmonious whole. I am a talented, curious, and experienced artist with a unique approach to creativity. As an architect and a graduate of the School of Fine Arts in Seville, I bring a diverse range of influences to my work. Having lived on four different continents and in vibrant cities such as Buenos Aires, London, Barcelona, Kyiv, Berlin, and Seville, I draw inspiration from the cultural tapestry that surrounds me. Over the course of my career, I have curated over 10 solo exhibitions and participated in more than 20 group shows. Notably, I have had the privilege of showcasing my work in six solo exhibitions held in the vibrant art scene of Berlin. This exposure has allowed me to engage with diverse audiences and share my artistic vision on a global scale. My artistic process is a labor of love. I immerse myself in the hustle and bustle of city life, observing, absorbing, and documenting the energy that surrounds me. Through a meticulous blend of sketches, interviews, and reflection, I transform these experiences into captivating artworks that captivate the imagination. Life and love are my muses, and I find inspiration in the rich tapestry of art and architectural movements spanning the past two centuries.
