About The Artwork
I like experimenting with light and its colours or formations made against backdrop of forms, making other interesting forms. So this is such an abstract using a block and shadow style in its minimalistic and geometric way, giving a volumetric concept. These formations happen all around us, but we are probably indifferent to or too used to them, or not too aware of our surroundings. Sometimes neatly made designs work out, sometimes informal shapes work well. I think it is what suits the ambience, helping items and pieces fit in and fall into place. The piece itself was painted on a Saunders Waterford Hot Pressed 56x76cm_300gm High White Sheet. Also, it has not been cropped, but has been left with its deckled edges and has the Saunders Waterford watermark pressed into it. Thus, for best results it would need to be protected behind a glass.

Jason is a painter and illustrator of various styles and different media for different ends.
