About The Artwork
This piece is inspired by the many tales of Baba Yaga, a cannibalistic witch who dwells in a mobile cottage built on chicken's legs. I hope that my viewers enjoy the piece, and feel an even greater connection to the tales of Baba Yaga than they did before. Literature of this kind grows and evolves with every passing generation, so I have decided to evolve it into a painting depicting Baba Yaga in a new environment that can be as deadly as she is.
