About The Artwork

Cheltenham Puzzle technique. Materials: Oil, wax, wood, Twenty-seven canvases bolted together shaped a stone wall, where an oil paint emulated graffiti. The artwork includes two clocks, one with a current time of 24h and the other with 16h. - Balancing the 666: This artwork follows the concept of my artistic practice and is the theoretical and aesthetic combination of two of my paintings: one is Titled ¨Balancing the 666¨, made in Venezuela in 2007. Work that is inspired in some information found in the book ¨Kryon, The End Times¨Another idea taken from this book was the statement that Kryon made about the true North of earth, the planet axis and its Magnetic Pole, and how the separation between those two spacial references improves the human's mental clarity and the evolution of the ADN of our specie. The sensation of a new time, where moments are more light, sublime in time, mental synapsis that makes us feel how a day vanish faster. Represented with a mechanical clock of one revolution a day gauged in 16 hrs in a yellow balloon Held by a young girl and winking an eye some like Greta Thunberg, balanced, fresh with this new time. The second central character of this oil painting is linked to my diptych entitled ¨The Seven Heavens of Ramtha¨, made in 2006. Work inspired in the pages of ¨The White book of Ramtha¨. In that acrylic, it's represented in a human-like head with seven overlapping pairs of eyes showing the different ways we see and overcome life, from the most basic learning in life-related to sex and survival, till ascending to the learning experiences throughout the suffering of the knowledge getting from power and money. The higher four levels left are covered by flags representing the patriotism in people as a handicap in this thriving process of feeling love but not expressing it, feeling and expressing love, understanding Good it's in everything, and finally, the higher, the seventh pair of eyes, close ones, when we experience: I am Good. In this artwork I'm presenting, the long head has the last four pair of eyes veiled with flags of patriotism, and the person is dressed in an old fashion way, clinging to the actual north axis of the earth, the power of his possessions on earth its seen as a melting shoe. With Hebrew numbers, his heavy clock it's out of proportion. The hands are more significant than the same clock. On the ocean, it's rebelling our garbage represented with a can of energy drink with three scratches of the monster mimicking the 666 in Hebrew numbers. Balancing the 666. Painting URL (in this link, you can appreciate the clock of the regular old-time on earth, and the installed one in the balloon, ticking 16hrs a day in actual operation). https://federicogarcia.co.uk/portfolio/balancing-the-666/

My name is Federico García, and I was born in Venezuela in 1965. I studied at the Arturo Michelena School of Fine Arts in Valencia, Venezuela, 1970. My love for nature made me study agriculture at the Jesuit technical school; with it, I became interested in photography of the environment. During my trips around the world, I made photographic albums on the life of different cultures. As a photographer, I worked for the UN. We created a project called Artists of Peace, and it sought to encourage peace through art, in this, I found part of my inspiration for the creation of artistic works with transcendental messages, intending to instil a collective conscience for the peace of humanity and the well-being of the environment. Due to the political situation of Venezuela, we had to emigrate. I have been able to learn many valuable lessons that I want to transmit through my work, which I'm currently carrying out in the heart of Cheltenham, Uk. The current evolution of my work it's based on the union of multiple stone-shaped frames, conforming a three-dimensional texture of a solid wall, where I present my oils as graffitis with transcendental themes linked to our human existence, combining the duality of good and bad, known or to be known. I want to create with my style, the crack that breaks that old mental dam and make people's ideas flow out of the square box. No line resists the curvature of the Universe.
