ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Painted this castle lots of times and thought it would make a change to bring winter to the paintbrush. The painting is an original acrylic on a wood panel. The castle is located on the northeast coast of England next to the village of Bamburgh. It was built in the 11 century and is of Norman Architecture. In the summer it is a very picturesque place lovely to paint. I usually make a few watercolour sketches and then paint it in my studio.
